Helping Steampunk decide what to sound like since 2017
the steam powered radio available from here
(ok so it's not strictly steam powered and not strictly a radio)
Ekster
European accordion folk.
Elemental
Apparently the album "Every day's a Saturday," is not suitable for Michael Gove which is fine by me. I suspect this is the same Elemental mentioned below. Imagine Mr C in a music hall. Quite a Fatboy Slim feel to some of these tracks.
Elemental and Mr Simmonds
Imagine a 20s rapper with noughties content.
Elisabat Muse
Brilliant sinister music box start on "Intro." Very much like all of what I've heard although might sit neater in the Goth box.
Embers, Rex and His Castanets
Deliberately scratchy sounding tween war show/club tunes
Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band
Quite cacophonous wall of sound jazz
Enebula
"Steampunk Dreams," is quite euro electro although with an almost clockwork beat. I think that is a genre I will invent
Engel, Kai
So understated my wife's texting is currently drowning the poor lad out. Neo Classical by his own admission but very nice, moody and atmospheric.
Ephemeral Mists
a kind of steam punk Enya. Very new Age with a bit of airline advert going on.
Evans, Tobey
A full on intense headfuck musical ensemble. Well worthy of the SP badge though 4 cogs.
Euphonage
Quite ethereal but absorbing. "The Legend of the Nog Bog," is a bit more music hall
Evans, Toby
one of those far too fast computer game types with a bit of Victoriana thrown in. Does apparently link to a computer game.
ExCowboy
Surprisingly trip-hop with a fair bit of static.
Extraordinary Contraptions, the
